Meet Dr. Elizabeth

Dr. Elizabeth Sczerzenie, D.C. is passionate about patient care.  She is fascinated by the biomechanics of the human body and the complexity of the nervous system.  She is very excited to be a part of the Norwood community as a resident, doctor, and small business owner!

Dr. Elizabeth was born and raised in Upstate NY.  She first moved to the Boston area in 2010 to study Behavioral Neuroscience at Northeastern University.  After graduating, she immediately moved back to Upstate NY to begin her doctorate at New York Chiropractic College.  Ever since she decided to become a chiropractor she knew that she wanted to come back to the Boston area to open her own practice.  After graduating from chiropractic school in March of 2018, Dr. Elizabeth moved to Norwood to begin the challenging and exciting adventure of opening her own practice.  Structural Wellness is the product of years of hard work, determination, and family support.

Speaking of family, Dr. Sczerzenie comes from a big one!  She has five older sisters and fifteen nieces and nephews.  She loves being an Auntie! She enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, sailing, and skiing both in New England and the beautiful Adirondack Mountains of upstate NY.  She is an alumni of the Northeastern University Sailing Team! Go Huskies! Her new favorite way to get some cardio in is a few games of pickleball. She is an active member of the Catholic young adult community in Norfolk County.  In addition to striving to provide great patient care, Dr. Sczerzenie also strives to be home in time for Jeopardy, make the best krispy kale this side of the Berkshires, and control her chocolate intake. Degrees of success vary;)

Structural Wellness is dedicated, in part, to my grandfather Dr. Abraham Louis Shaheen.  Dr. Shaheen not only played a pivotal role in my education but also set an example for me by striving to take very good care of each and every one of his patients.  Thank you Jido!
